ONSEN EXPERIENCE

about ONSEN

Nozawa Onsen has 13 public onsens (Soto-yu) which are open for guests and locals. Nozawa’s onsen was first discovered back in the 8th century and has been famous in Japan until today.  Well-cared-for by a local community of villagers, each onsen house is kept clean and comfortable all the time.
The onsen is the best way to warm your body and relieve your fatigue especially after enjoying the mountain, and you can also experience Japanese tradition and local life by soaking an onsen. The onsens plus winter sports must be the perfect combination that enhances your travel experience.

One of the onsens called SHINDEN-no-yu is right next to TOGORO, and you can walk to even in the heavy snow!
